"Thou Shall Not Steal"; Police Officer Who Crucified Thief To A Cross Bags Jail Term - see Photos

A police officer has been sentenced to six years in jail after he taped an alleged thief to a cross with a sign stuck to his belly saying: 'You shall not steal.' Victor Robledo, 27, was discovered in May 2014 after an anonymous phone call to local police in the city of San Francisco in the northern Argentine province of Cordoba.

He was taped up to a makeshift wooden cross at the side of the road and his head was also covered in masking tape with a hole for him to breathe through. Police found the man with minor injuries and with symptoms of hyperthermia.
Flores will now complete at least three years of a six-year prison sentence, after which he could be released on probation
