Evacuation Almost Done On Otedola Bridge After Fuel Tanker Explosion. +Photos
Yesterday, havoc befell motorists on Otedola bridge along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway where at least 9 people were killed and over 50 vehicles burnt after a fuel tanker caused an explosion in the area. The tanker which was loaded with PMS, had a brake failure while trying to overtake a vehicle before crashing and exploding in the process.

The World Bank has announced the approval of $2.1bn loan for seven projects to be executed in Nigeria.
A statement issued in Abuja on Thursday said the loans were approved in Washington on Wednesday and are for seven projects to support Nigeria’s investment in nutrition, access to electricity, states’ fiscal transparency, polio eradication, women’s economic empowerment, public finance and national statistics and reducing vulnerability to soil erosion.

Man Rapes 18-month-old Niece To Death *
A mom is still trying to come to terms with the death of her 18-month-old daughter, Zama, raped and brutalized by her 23-year-old uncle in Esikhaleni, South Africa.
The 34-year-old mother revealed that Zama had been raped the day before she died on Wednesday, last week. She said her daughter was living with her 26-year-old father at the time of her death.

More revelations emerged on Wednesday when the Chairman of the dissolved Governing Board of the National Business and Technical Examinations Board, Prof Leonard Shilgba, released the report of the committee set up to investigate corruption and malpractices within the body.
