Remo Stars FC failed to pick any point in the rescheduled Nigeria National League (NNL) match day 7 clash at Ekiti United.
Despite taking the lead the Sky Blue Stars went down 1-2 to Ekiti United in the Saturday’s NNL clash decided at the Olukayade Stadium in Ado Ekiti.
Remo Stars captain and goal scorer, Victor Mbaoma described the loss as a bitter pill to swallow to surrender one goal lead with few minutes to end football hostilities.
“It’s difficult to describe how I feel at the moment, we had couple of chances we did not convert before I scored and afterward we failed to clear our lines.
“The result is difficult to accept because we worked very hard and even played far better to deserve the maximum points here but it was not meant to be at the end of the day.

“Too bitter the defeat going in front in a crucial match and losing the entire three points not even a point to console or compensate our efforts,” said Mbaoma to supersport.com.
Remo Stars will travel down to the Rojenny Stadium in Oba to take on Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Lobi Stars in the Federation Cup round of 16 clash on Wednesday.
