Only 12 fans show up to watch Chelsea training

It appears Premier League champions Chelsea, are not very popular in Montreal, as only 12 fans turned up to watch them train.

The Blues have begun preparation for their US tour and following their arrival in Canada on Wednesday, Jose Mourinho led a double training session the next day.

Only a dozen supporters were present to see the players arrive at the Montreal Impact training ground on Friday morning. The number increased to 50 by the time the team were done and ready to leave.

Other English heavyweights like Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool, have enjoyed a good following with hundreds of fans showing up at various events and games.

The Gunners for instance, beat Everton 3-1 on Saturday afternoon, in front of 52,107 spectators – a new Barclays Asia Trophy record.
