Fayose : Mimiko Cannot be Chairman of PDP Governors Forum

Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state has kicked against the emergence of Ondo State Governor Olusegun Mimiko as chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governor's forum. 

THE NATION reports that Fayose has rallied some other governors in the party to kick against Mimiko’s emergence and a petition has been sent to the party's leadership. 

Fayose and his supporters are protesting on grounds that the choice of Mimiko did not follow due process on grounds as the Ondo governor only defected to the PDP only last year.
