Great Mathematician and Physicist Professor Stephen Hawking is no doubt the most brilliant scientist in the world, he was diagnosed with motor neurone disease at the age of 21 which paralyzed him till date, he can't walk, move, talk,write,yet he still researches, he has written numerous books and writes about one of the most complex mystery in the world, the black hole in space, watching his videos always almost bring me to tears,he still solves very complex mathematical problems by representing values, figures etc with geometry in his brain instead of standard mathematical equations since he can't pick up a pen and write,his brain has been connected to a speech synthesizer, anything he thinks types on the screen of his wheelchair computer, speaks out through the speaker, because he can't even move his mouth,even with his condition, he was honored to be one of the youngest fellows of royal society, a visiting professor at Caltech ,Lucasian Professor of Mathematics in Cambridge. 

 

 

His inaugural lecture as Lucasian Professor of Mathematics was titled: "Is the end in sight for Theoretical Physics" and proposed N=8 Supergravity as the leading theory to solve many of the outstanding problems physicists were studying,winner of numerous awards and prizes,he declined a Knighthood by Queen Elizabeth,with his condition,he has successfully supervised 39 PhD students,Hawking has continued to work as director of research at the Cambridge University Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, and indicated in 2012 that he had no plans to retire,Ladies and gentlemen,read more about Professor Hawking here :
