Boyfriend Beats Lover To Death, Buries Her In His Room (PHOTO)

One Prince Owabie has been arrested for beating his girlfriend, Betha Ogbede, to death and burying her in his room in Rumuepirikom, Rivers State.

It was gathered that Owabie was in the habit of beating up the deceased, who lived with him. .


According to Betha’s cousin, the deceased had gone to pick her belongings from Owabie’s house, on Sunday, when an argument started between them, resulting in a fight, which led to her death. .

During the fight, she called her sister, telling her, in tears, that her boyfriend wanted to kill her. However, when she failed to return home, a search was launched for her.

When the suspect was interrogated on the deceased’s whereabouts, he admitted that she was in his house, but later left for her house and that he had not heard from her since then. .

Not satisfied with his explanation, her family members stormed Owabie’s house, in the early hours of yesterday and discovered a shallow grave in his room. He then confessed that he buried Betha in the grave.
