Residents Raise Alarm As Over 200 Armed Hoodlums Invade Community In Lekki

Residents of Fowoseje community in Lakowe Phase 2, Ibeju -Lekki, Lagos have raised alarm over the invasion of their community by over 200 armed hoodlums (land grabbers).



A resident of the community, Tosin Titilola narrated their ordeal to NNN saying, 'on November 5th. They were sent by Tolls System Development company and Mutairu Owoeye (leader of land grabbers).

''As I speak they have blocked all entrances and access road to the community. They chased construction workers working on my factory site and personal building and they have started demolishing some places. They want to forcely claim remaining 9.4 hectares the government allocated to the Community after they have been allocated 1561 hectares. ''

She went on to say, 'we plead on the task forces to come and help us get this terrorist out of our area. This is a serious issue as our lives are been threatened. Now they are harrsssing us with guns and marked all buildings in the community for demolistion (hoodlums that are not government agency o). Road accesses are still blocked with heaps of sand'.
