A clergyman based in Akwa Ibom Reverend Richard Peters of the African Church have blasted the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) for trying to bribe him to support the party.
Rev Peter said he rejected a whopping three hundred million Naira (N300, 000,000) from the Akwa Ibom state chapter of the All Progressive Congress to support their candidates come 2019.
Rev Richard is an ardent supporter of the people’s democratic party in the state and have been facing serious criticism for being partisan. Earlier this year He dismissed suspended from his church – The African Church for attacking the Niger Delta Development Commission Managing Director and former deputy governor of Akwa Ibom state Nsima Ekere who’s the APC governor flag bearer hopeful in Akwa Ibom state but was later re-instated.
