Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Professor Mahmoud Yakubu has revealed that Enhanced Card Reader will be used for the first time in Ekiti.
This was disclosed at a consultative meeting with media Managers in Abuja.
Yakubu said there was no difficulty in the terrain in Ekiti and assured of a free and fair poll.
The Chairman, however, called on the media to cooperate with the commission to ensure the success of the forthcoming Ekiti Governorship election on the 14th of this month.
Professor Yakubu said the commission is not a political party and will continue to maintain its integrity as election managers.
He further stressed the need to mobilize Nigerians to participate in the ongoing Voter registration exercise.
