Governor Obiano Inspects The Ogbaru Irrigation Project- Pictures

In line with the Governor's commitment to ensure all-year-round rice farming, Anambra State Government has embarked on several irrigation projects to assist the farmers thereby producing more quantity of quality rice and creating job opportunities.

Already, this irrigation project in Ogbaru has over 700 farmers and when completed will provide jobs for over 2000 persons.


Recall that before Gov Obiano's administration, Anambra was producing merely 80,000 metric tons of rice but in less than 4 years of #ObianoEffect, the State now produces well over 345 metric tons.
