The officials of the Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA in collaboration with Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) and National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) yesterday, Monday, January 29, 2018, handed over relief materials to victims of the flood disaster that rocked the Unity Estate and Redeem Estate CDAs Igbo-Owore, in Igbogbo community, Lagos Mainland.
Recall that in April 2017, the part of Lagos Mainland communities as well as Igbogbo community in Ikorodu witnessed a catastrophic flood which led to the destruction of properties worth millions of naira.
With a myriad of residents losing properties to the flood, the local council facilitated the delivery of relief materials to the affected residents in the community.
InsideMainland gathered that the Chairman of Unity CDA, Igbogbo, Alhaji Hafeez Onipasantira, alongside other CDA heads in the community championed the drive to reach out to the management of LASEMA and NEMA to come to their aid in the community.
