Witnesses said after the assailants allegedly stabbed their victim to death, they went on rampage, as they attacked anyone in sight and burned down at least three houses.

Spokesman for the Rivers State Police Command, Nnamdi Omoni, confirmed the incident to Channels Television.

Mr omoni said the situation has been brought under control, while efforts are ongoing to apprehend the suspects and bring them to book
