Louis Tomlinson ARRESTED After Airport Brawl

One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has been arrested on suspicion of attacking a photographer in a late night brawl at baggage claim.

The star became in embroiled in an airport bust up after a photographer got too close to his face and other travellers turned on girlfriend Eleanor Calder, sources said....


The new couple, who are believed to have rekindled their romance, were returning from Vegas after a week of partying on Friday evening when Louis was spotted by waiting paparazzi.

He was arrested in a citizens arrest - sources confirmed - and has now be charged with battery - but not as a felony offence. The photographer was also arrested but it is not known whether they have been charged.


If Louis is convicted under the lesser misdemeanor charge he could face up to 1 year in jail and numerous fines and court fees. He has now bene released on $20,000 bail.

According to TMZ: "He allegedly pulled the photog to the floor by his legs. The photog fell backwards and struck his back and head on the floor.

"It didn't end there. A female witness started recording Louis' female companion as she tried to leave. The 2 women allegedly then got into a physical altercation."
Louis has been booked simple battery - his agent confirmed he was at the police station on Saturday morning.

According to reports when Louis asked one photographer to stop filming - who refused. Sources said the pair became embroiled in a "scuffle" which led to security being called and three other people, not photographers, becoming involved.

Louis’ lawyer Martin Singer released a statement on his behalf. He said: "The paparazzi provoked and caused the altercation that occurred with Louis at the airport this morning.

"This is not the first or last time that a paparazzi has created an altercation with a celebrity.
