A grandmother sparked a wild online frenzy after she downed shots with student partygoers and posted the pictures on Facebook. Doreen Grett, from Colorado, was holidaying in Playa Grande, Mexico, when she struck up an unlikely friendship with three women on Spring Break....

After chatting to the students, dressed in similar swimming costumes, by the pool, Doreen joined them for a shot on the beach.

She uploaded a picture of the drinking session on Facebook and captioned it "Shots with the girls".

Her granddaughter Payton Grett then shared the image on her Facebook seemingly tickled by the encounter.

She wrote: "My grandma is in Mexico taking shots with random girls on the beach and posting pics of it with captions like they’re bff’s.”
