Senate Postpones EFCC Chairman, Magu's Confirmation Hearing Indefinitely

Screening & Confirmation of Acting EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Magu not listed on Senate Order paper today as officials of the agency depart NASS after waiting endlessly.

Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu had at Wednesday's plenary announced that the Senate will begin the confirmation hearing of the Acting EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Magu, and board members of the commission on Thursday (Today).....


With this development, the confirmation exercise is now suspended indefinitely as there is no official explanation or referral of the screening exercise to the Senate Committee on Anti-corruption led by Senator Chukwuka Utazi.
