Another Tanker Accident Occurs At Kara Bridge On Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

Another tanker accident occurred on Thursday at the Kara bridge on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. This comes barely less than a month after the road witnessed a horrifying accident that claimed four lives....


The latest one occurred just a few metres away from where the initial one occurred.

The accident happened when a tanker lost control and rammed into a passenger bus conveying 12 passengers, almost knocking it over the bridge.

The incident led to traffic build up but the combined effort of the Police, Federal Road Safety Commission, Lagos State Fire Service and the Ogun State Road Marshals brought it under control.

Thankfully, no life was lost but those with injuries are said to be receiving treatment at a nearby hospital
