Leaders of the two factions in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) embroiled in a leadership struggle, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff and Senator Ahmed Makarfi, met today in Abuja -during the latter's surprise visit. They met after previously agreeing to end the relentless political drama....
It will be recalled that Mr. Sheriff and Mr. Makarfi have both claimed to be the legitimate Chairman of the PDP for several months. At the height of the disagreement, sponsored supporters of both men occupied the PDP secretariat.
