The Nigeria Army (33 Brigade) released a statement today acknowledging it has killed seven suspected kidnappers in Bauchi state....
In a statement by the Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Usman on Saturday, the army said the suspected kidnappers were killed at Lame Burra Forrest near Dursen Ganye, Gunduru and Kati Layin villages, Bauchi.
According to the statement, two AK47 rifles and three dane guns were recovered from the suspects. Usman also said the area was still under surveillance for the possibility of clamping down members of the gang who are stuill at large.
