The very best of World Wrestlers hit Enugu in December for a two-day wrestling programme tagged "Legends Wrestle for Unity" in honour of Nigeria's Heroes Past, as the organising boby, the Ultimate Wrestling and Charity Organization (TUWCO) led by the Ultimate Commander, World Wrestling Champion, Amb. Osita Offor, and his team visit Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, in preparation for the event, which is billed to hold on 9th and 10th of December, 2016....
The two-day programme, according to the organising body, "shall not only showcase wrestling bouts but also feature the best of Nigerian Musicians, Comedians and presentation of Unity awards to our living heroes and our Heroes Past."
Gov. Ugwuanyi in his address officially endorsed the hosting of the event in Enugu State, saying that it will promote peace and brotherhood among all Nigerians.
According to him, "I must say that Enugu is a fitting choice as venue for the event because it is not only a peaceful city but is the home of many sporting legends. Since we are talking about wresting, we would recall that Enugu was the city that hosted the famous wrestling match between the legendary Power Mike and his equally popular rival, Ali Baba of Lebanon."
The popular Nollywood actress, Mrs Patience Ozokwor, 'MAMA G' was among the delegation.
