A total of 549 tons of used clothing being smuggled from Hong Kong to Shenzhen in China has been seized by the police. 

The goods are worth about US$1.65 million, according to the police. Most of the clothing were collected from overseas morgues, garbage dumps and scrap yards, and would have been sold to consumers after washed and repaired....
