The Nigerian Air Force troops deployed to Operation Delta Safe in the Niger Delta also joined in the celebration of Eid al-Fitr as they were treated to a buffet at the 97 Special Operation Group in Port Harcourt.
The Air Component Commander, Air Commodore Paul Dimfwina while delivering the goodwill message of the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Mshl Sadique Baba Abubakar urged the troops to remain committed and maintain high level of alertness while fighting militancy and other form of economic sabotage in the region.
The Commander reiterated the commitment of the NAF to improve the welfare of the personnel as well as provision of adequate equipment alongside training for effective and efficient air operations.
