The provost denied any increment in school fee, but saying that the only fee the rampaging students were asked to pay was a professional fee of N3,000 for NCE students and N6,000 for the degree students which she claimed was from teachers registration Council of Nigeria.

The students had embarked on a peaceful demonstration which later turned violent wherein they kicked against no school fees no examination policy by the school management. The students equally accused the management of being insensitive to their plights as their was no electricity supply to the hostels weeks leading to their second semester examinations .

The Police confirmed that they had arrested six students who allegedly instigated violent in the school during the demonstration. The school management had shut down academic and administrative activities indefinitely.
