Police in Imo State has confirmed the arrest of three armed robbery suspects who specialized in robbing petroleum refilling stations and snatching of cars in Mbaise /Obowo axis of the state.

The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, in the state, Mr Andrew Enwerem who confirmed the nabbing of the suspects by the operatives of his command alleged that the suspects were arrested Thursday while escaping from the state to neighboring Abia state to dispose an Avalon car they allegedly stole.

The Police spokesperson disclosed that money was also recovered from the suspects, adding that they would be prosecuted in accordance with the laws of the land.
