Sir Shina Peters debunks taking a new wife, says “it’s till death do us part with Sammie'

Well, the Afro Juju creator, Sir Shina Peters has debunked the reports, emphasizing that it was all rumours.

The reports had claimed that the veteran musician has dumped his wife of 35 years, Sammie who had just survived a trying moment battling with cancer. 

However, GoldmyneTv Boss, Otunba Sesan Rufai had a one on one interview with Sir Shina Peters recently and he clearly it all.

Sir Shina Peters said, “I have no plans or intention to leave my wife or even marry another. Sammie and I have been married for 35 years and love each other. She had been with me through thick and thin and struggled with me when I was nobody. She understands me and understands my business.

 I read about the story online about me leaving her and just decided to not respond. It was totally fabricated and I don’t know the intentions of the writers. I think the reason people would assume this is because, I’m a musician, women naturally come around me and people would read meaning to their association. 

This isn’t the first time there would be a rumours about me leaving Sammie and certainly won’t be the last. 

Since, we have been sitting together now Otunba, can you count the number of ladies who have come to take pictures with me? This is the reality of the life of a musician. That’s the job… It’s till death do us part with Sammie. I’m not getting married to anyone.”

On Sammie’s health and stability. He said, “I thank God for her life. She was able to overcome the battle and she is doing fine now. We stay together in the same home and her recovery has only been by God’s grace
