As part of the ‪‎Democracy Day‬ celebrations in Kogi State on Monday, May 30, a novelty match was played between the Governor's Team (Government Appointees) and the Deputy Governor's Team (LGA Administrators).


The game ended 4-1 in favour of the Governor's Team, with the Team Captain, His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello, scoring the first goal of the game.
