See How Protesters Were Beaten And Battered By Policemen During Massive Protest In Kenya



Kenyan police have fired tear gas to break up protests over electoral reforms ahead of general elections next year....


Police officers were seen beating some protesters who had gathered outsides the offices of Kenya's electoral commission in the capital Nairobi. See photos below; 

Kenya's police say at least 15 people were arrested during the protest organised by the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) in Nairobi, AFP news agency reports. 

The 15 would be charged in court on Tuesday, police said, without specifying the charges, AFP adds.
