Photo: Woman arrested for allegedly killing her 8-months old baby in Yobe

25 year old Yakura Idi, pictured above, from Gwange Ward, Damaturu, Yobe state has been arrested for allegedly killing her eight-month old son, Mohammed Idi.
According to a statement by the Yobe state police commissioner, Zannah Ibrahim, Yakura was arrested after she used a knife to kill her son and then buried his corpse in a shallow grave in her family compound.

The remains of the baby has been exhumed and will undergo autopsy while the stained knife has been kept as an exhibit. Reason for her committing this heinous crime is yet unknown
