Militants Destroy More NNPC Pipeline

Militants Destroy More NNPC Pipeline

Militants in Niger Delta have launched fresh attacks on the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) crude trunkline supplying both the Warri and Kaduna refineries, The Cable reports...

It was gathered that an oil flow station feeding the Chevron Tank farm in Warri south west local government area of Delta state and a gas line that feeds Lagos and Abuja electricity plants were also attacked.

The affected NNPC pipeline was just recently repaired after it was destroyed by the militants in earlier attacks.

The new attacks is coming barely 48 hours after militants blew up Chevron Valve Platform, also in Warri south west. A militant group, Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) had since claimed responsibility for the Wednesday attack.
