Elena Silina Parks Her Car Outside Only For It To Be Swallowed By A Sinkhole

Beauty parlour employee Elena Silina, 24, saw her car submerge into a giant pothole in the street. Elena parked outside the Turist Hotel in Barnaul but soon heard her the alarm from her Toyota IST.


She rushed outside to see what happened but was shocked to see the car being swallowed

She called the emergency services who arrived at the scene. It took 15 people to lift the car out of the one metre deep crater.

Officials said the sinkhole was caused by burst underground pipes which supply hot water to homes.

The incident took place in Barnaul in south central Russia, and photographs of it have been making the rounds on social media and local internet forums.
