Executive members of the All Progressives Congress in the UK were among the list of dignitaries at the London UK official residence of the President, Abuja House, earlier this morning....
The President who attended the anti-corruption summit hosted by UK Prime Minister, David Cameron, stayed at Abuja house from Tuesday till this morning when he departed for Nigeria. President Buhari is scheduled to host a security summit in Abuja tomorrow.
A few hours before his arrival in London few days ago, ITV released a leaked video of the Prime Minister saying Nigeria is "fantastically corrupt."
In a press statement, APC UK was quick to highlight the work the current administration was doing to rid the nation of corruption.
Mr Femi Adesina praised the decision of the chapter to do so saying that the press release was "very timely and I am sure it reached it audience."
Mr Ade Omole, APC UK leader vowed to continue the good works the chapter is doing, in supporting President Buhari.
Speaking to Mr Adesina the SA to the President on media and publicity, Mr Omole said: "We are right behind the President. We will continue to support you."
This was welcomed by Mr Adesina who said he was grateful for all the work that has been done. He urged the team to continue with the good work.
President Buhari departed shortly after and APC UK executives wished the presidential team a safe journey back to Nigeria.
