The police were said to have shot into the air to disperse the students who have blocked the busy East-West road, which has led to a lot of traffic and left travellers stranded on the road before the bullets hit the students. The student pictured above was said to have died instantly while the lady is believed to have died on the way to hospital.

The students were protesting against an increment in their school fees, and also asked the school authorities to cancel their ‘No school fees, no exam law’. May their souls rest in peace.
