A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni LGA, chief Lucky Ajie (Idu), has been assassinated by unknown gunmen in his country home, Okposi.
ONELGA News Update learnt that chief Ajie was trailed and shot dead by assailants in front of his compound today.
Condemning the killing, former chief of staff of ONELGA Council, Mr Chijioke Ejebide, who visited the family members to commiserate with them described the dastardly murder of chief Ajie, as regretful. see more photos after cut....
Ejebide called on the police to investigate the murder and bring the culprits to book.
Okposi community is the home of Onyekachi Nwokocha, former Rivers state commissioner for power.
