10 people have been confirmed dead in a road accident which occurred at the Four Square Camp, Ajebo Area of Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State...
This is along the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway while six others were critically injured.
Confirming the incident,the Ogun State Deputy Corp Commander, Mr Divis Ogiamien, said the accident was caused by dangerous driving by the driver of a Mazda bus with the registration number APP 912 XH, who rammed into an Iveco truck with registration number, GGE 338 XL, at a road division along the expressway.
He said both the dead and those who sustained injury have been taken to the Olabisi Onabanjo Teaching Hospital at Sagamu.
The accident was reported to have happened around 2:10PM on Wednesday, March 16.
