With the second reading of the Bill for an Act for the Establishment of a National Commission for Persons with Disabilities in December 2015, the 8th Senate has demonstrated its resolve towards ensuring more access for Nigerians with disabilities.
Moving forward, we will be working with the CCD and other developmental partners to examine how we can strengthen our laws for our countrymen and women with disabilities.
