A spokesperson for the First Division of the Nigerian army, Colonel Usmnan Abdul, who made this disclosure, noted that such tip-off would be treated with utmost confidentiality.
Inusa was reportedly whisked away in his Mercedes-Benz car by gunmen around Kamazo, along Kaduna Refinery Road, in Chikun local government area of Kaduna state on Saturday, March 26.
Colonel Abdul announced the cash-for-information offer to journalists on Monday morning, upping the bounty to N1million after an initial promise of N500,000 cash reward for information.

Meanwhile, as part of efforts to successfully rescue the senior officer, Spokesman of 1 Division Nigerian Army, Colonel Usman told newsmen on Monday morning that the Army authority is ready to give the said cash reward to any person with useful information that could lead to the rescue of officer.
The authority had earlier promised N500,000 cash reward for the informant, but it on Monday raised the cash reward to N1million.
