The palatial home where the late soccer legend, Rashidi Yekini was living before his untimely death on 4th May 2012, which had been taken over by weeds and causing serious apprehension for residents of Oni and Sons' area of Ring-Road, Ibadan where the house is situated is now wearing a new look and has been put to use....
The counsel to the late Goal-king, Barrister Jubril Mohammed who is in-charge of all Rashidi Yekini left behind has confirmed to newsmen that his efforts to obtain every necessary document that would enable him to take the appropriate action on the estate has now yielded a good result.
"All the proceeds from the rent and any other resources generated by Rashidi Yekini Foundation will be used to cater for the education of the two girls the deceased left behind and that's why we want an organization that can take the property on a long lease basis", the lawyer noted.
The legal practitioner, however, added that Yekini left behind two daughters, Rashidat Yemisi 19, an undergraduate at Dorchester University, United Kingdom and Omoyemi Mariam 17, that has just gained admission to study Law at the University of Ilorin. These are the direct beneficiaries of wealth and properties his client left behind.
