#EKITI : Governor Fayose Opens Database for Widows in Ekiti State. [ See Photos ]

Government of Ekiti State under the leadership of Gov. Ayodele Fayose, has commenced the registration of widows across the state, in order to establish a database to aid government in planning for the widows.....


 The first phase of the exercise which cut across the three senatorial district in the state, kicked off in Efon Local Government on Wednesday, taken to Ilejemeje on Thursday and ended in Ise/Orun Local government on Friday, today.

While speaking at the venue of the exercise in Ise/Orun, Governor Fayose, who was represented by the Special Assistant (SA) to the governor on Widows Matters and Women Empowerment, Mrs Funmilayo Ogun reiterated the commitment of the government in making life better for the less privileged in the society.

The registration exercise which shall take place in phases is subsequently expected to cut across all the sixteen local government areas in the state.
