Sat Guru Maharaji Speaks On Biafra, Boko Haram And Anti-Social Media Bill On 68th Birthday

Sat. Guru Maharaji who recently mocked a late Pope, Goldie, MKO Abiola, Yar’adua and some other international celebrities saying they would have been alive if they had found him before their untimely death has now also raised his voice concerning the on-going Biafra issue...

Maharaji who spoke yesterday in Ibadan to journalists at a press conference in celebration of his 68th birthday said something urgent must be done in other for the Biafra issue not to get out of hand.

He went ahead to say the issue of Biafra died in 1968 and should not be escalated now or used to threaten the unity of the country urging all to learn from what is happening today in the North.

“The issue of bad roads and infrastructural decay in the country were responsible for this agitation and it needs urgent attention to avoid another Boko Haram insurgency in the country.

“Igbo traditional rulers should be invited in finding a solution to this issue of Biafra.

“The country is right now fully in control of its security situation and the issue of Biafra should urgently be attended to before it escalates to what we do not expect,” Maharaji ji said.

He also revealed his rejection of the infamous Social Media Bill stating that the media platforms available to citizens give them the opportunity to question their leaders.

He however supports President Buhari’s fight against corruption noting that accelerated hearings in corruption cases would help in the anti-graft war.
