All these news about baby trafficking is becoming tiresome. Operatives of the Nigerian Security And Civil Defence Corp 'rescued' 17 babies and 4 pregnant teenaged girls from an orphanage home called Jehovah Jireh in Orlu, Imo state that was allegedly being used as a baby factory...
The state commander of the NSCDC explained that his men uncovered a 2007 expired licence of the orphanage home, alleged to have been owned by a Local Government staff member in Orlu, known as Cecelia Egemole.
The oldest of these girls is a 19 year old. Someone was telling me that it isn't really a 'rescue' if the girls were there of their own volition, but be that as it may, these girls are being exploited for some people's selfish gains because what happens is the babies are sold to the highest bidders, or what is more commonly known as illegal adoption.
