Speaking shortly after an emergency meeting of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) at its national headquarters in Abuja, yesterday, Oyegun said, ''We know that the president will do what he needs to do.

What happen or did not happen between us and the President is a matter for the party as a family. It is a family affair, but he will do what he needs to do, when he needs to do it. You can trust him on that''; LEADERSHIP reports.

When further asked about the party’s position on the travails on Saraki, he said, ''Well, that matter is in court I wouldn’t want to say one word about that''.
