The Controller General of the Nigerian Customs, Abdullahi Dikko Inde, has tendered his resignation letter to President Muhammad Buhari.
Information gathered says Dikko wishes to leave the job on August 18 although he still has 2 years to the end of his tenure.

It was learnt that President Buhari had earlier turned down the resignation letter, asking Mr. Dikko to give him time to study the Customs and its operations, but that he has now accepted the resignation.
President Buhari is reportedly looking to fill the vacant position with a Customs officer from the South-South.
