Governor Muhammad Badaru of Jigawa state, has approved the dissolution of the executive committee of the state chapter of Youth Council of Nigeria.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the state Government, Alhaji Adamu Abdulkadir,which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria on Sunday in Dutse.
It said the dissolution was with immediate effect.
The statement quoted Abdulkadir fani as saying the dissolution followed a conflict rocking the council.
It explained that a caretaker committee to oversee the affairs of the council had been constituted.
According to the statement, the committee will be headed by Salisu Rabiu, as the chairman,with Aliyu Yahaya as the Vice Chairman, and Muhammad Mujaddadi as Secretary.

Others, it said, were Dr Usman Abba as PRO, Bello Jibri as Welfare Officer, Muhammad Sani as Assistant Secretary, while Kamilu Nasuru would serve as Treasurer.
The SSG directed the state Ministry of Information, to work with the caretaker committee, pending the election of new officials by members of the council.
