The incident happened while the girl was on a trip with her friends who had recently graduated and were sightseeing in Moscow.
The bus had stopped over a bridge and the group of girls wanted to take pictures. This resulted in the death of the girl, who had wandered of from the group to take a selfie.
She toppled over the bridge while leaning against the fence and tumbled to her death.
Police are investigating the death as there have been reports that she might have been drinking alcohol.
