The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have confirmed they have received a letter from lawyers of sacked Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi demanding for a billion Naira compensation from the NFF for defamation.

“But we did not get it directly, But We got it from the National Sports Commission.“I don’t think it’s something we should be discussing, but I can confirm that we have received the letter addressed to us through the National Sports Commission.”

Last week, it was reported that Keshi had dragged the NFF to court for “wrongful dismissal and defamation”.
