Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), has threatened that if harassment and intimidation of their National leadership didn’t stop they will order for total shutdown of all filling stations in the country.
The group alleged that some individuals have been harassing and intimidating its National President, Mr Lawson Obasi and 3 others over vandalization of its National Secretariat which they said was not true.

The group said it would strongly oppose any witch-hunting and blackmail of their leaders by any individual in the country.
Public Relations Secretary of the group, Alhaji Sani Yusha’u Sal-Sabil disclosed this at a news briefing on their position on the current Prosecution of its substantive President and 3 others.
” We are using this medium to call the attention of government and general public to that fact that it goes contrary to natural reasoning for a National President to vandalize his own secretariat of which he has total dominion over.
” The said break-in, theft and vandalization cannot be said to be true when the secretariat is their official place of work and they can access it at their convenience,” he said.
The group threw their support behind Federal Government under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari to sanitize government and other agencies in the country.

” We are sincerely in support of federal government’s effort of trying to bring sanity to the governance and administration of not only government affairs but all facets of our collective endeavors,” he said.
They called on their members to cooperate with any agency or institution of this government in their investigations and trials in order to achieve a healthy and prosperous society.
