Former President Goodluck Jonathan has returned home after a short vacation in the United States and the United Kingdom (UK), his close associates told the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday.
Jonathan who handed over to Muhammadu Buhari on May 29 flew out of the country shortly after.
On Monday, he urged Nigerians to support Buhari in the wake of the worsening terrorist activities in the country.
"I urge all Nigerians to continue to pray for peace in Nigeria and to support the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari as the government does its best to bring an end to these acts of terror and secure all Nigerians. May God bless Nigeria,"
Jonathan said through a posting on his Facebook page.
