APC Governors meet in Abuja, to brief Buhari on arrival

A meeting of the Governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress is underway in Abuja as President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to arrive back in Nigeria at about 1am Thursday.

Although details of the meeting of the APC Governors Forum are not known, there are speculations that the governors might be demanding for further assistance from the President in order to overcome the various challenges being faced by many of them in their respective states especially on the issue of salaries and pensions.

The goverors according to sources close to their forum are expected to brief President Muhammadu Buhari as soon as he arrives the country from his four day official visit to the United States.
