Youths vow to expose corrupt politicians, treasury looters

The youth wing of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the Ohanaeze Youth Council, on Monday said it has compiled the names of “all corrupt politicians and looters of public treasury” in the South-East for onward transmission to President Muhammadu Buhari.

This was disclosed in a statement made available to our correspondent in Enugu by the National President of the Ohanaeze Youth Council, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro.

The concerned corrupt politicians and looters of public treasury were not named in the statement but the Ohanaeze youth wing described the list as “very comprehensive.”

They urged similar groups in other geopolitical zones to follow suit by also forwarding names of corrupt politicians and looters of the treasury in their areas to the Buhari administration.

“In the list are past and present looters of public funds.

“It will be made public very soon so that there will be no hiding place for such characters who brought woes to Ndigbo.

“Ohanaeze Youth Council also call on similar groups in other zones  of the country to follow suit so that our  nation will be sanitised once and for all.

“All efforts should be made to prosecute these looters to serve as a deterrence to others, presently and in the future.

“The list is very comprehensive and Ohanaeze Youth Council will ensure that the loots are returned to Ndigbo and Nigerians,” the Ohanaeze Youth Council said.

The group went ahead to warn the leader of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign Republic of Biafra, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, and Niger Delta activist, Asari Dokubo, to stop promoting violence in their various regions.

They urged the Federal Government to arrest Uwazuruike and Dokubo, if they do not desist from their alleged activities.
