Barely two weeks after fuel tanker fire devastated Iyana Ipaja and Idimu areas of Lagos, another fuel tanker laden with 33,000 litres of premium motor spirit, otherwise known as fuel has crashed at the Olori Mojisola Onikoyi in the Banana Island area of Lagos.
Information reaching Naijanaijanews shows that the tanker spilled its products on the road at the Banana Island area of Lagos and residents of the area have besieged the scene to scoop fuel.
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) spokesman Ibrahim Farinloye in an alert called on resident to desist from scooping the the product to prevent any incident of fire.
He said that already, men of the Fire service have arrive the scene and are making effort to secure the area and prevent fire incidents.
